CLUB RULES

1: Drivers must wear closed shoes at all times.

2: Drivers only on drivers stand.

3: No transmitters to be taken onto the track.

4: Cars are not to be driven anywhere outside the track.

5: 12-year age limit for marshalling.

6: Drivers under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.

7: Transmitters must be placed in box at drivers stand when not in use.

8: Offensive language or behaviour around the track or pits will not be tolerated. We are a family club so let’s keep it that way.

9: The race director will work out with the driver, a suitable radio frequency, which the driver must, if possible, adhere to for future race meetings. It is preferred that drivers don’t change frequencies from one meeting to the next as this causes problems for the race director. Each member should have 3 sets of crystals for the finals in case of clashes.

10: Smoking is not permitted in pit area.

11: Drivers must marshal the heat following their own or arrange for someone to do it for them.

12: Marshals must be in place by the 2 minute warning or a 10-point penalty will apply.

13: Practice procedures will be controlled by the race director. During practice, the frequency board must be used.

14: Drivers must refrain from leaning forward on the drivers stand as this may obstruct the view of other drivers.

15: Should a driver’s car stop on the track he/she must notify other drivers on the drivers stand.

16: Only drivers, marshals and pit crew allowed on track during a race.

17: No yelling or abusing at track Marshals when your car is turned over, a couple of quick revs to alert marshal is sufficient. Just remember you’re the one driving and you’re the one that crashed so don't take it out on the Marshall.

18: Experienced members are asked to help beginners. Remember, we were all beginners once.

19: All members/ participants are expected to display GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AT ALL TIMES.

20: Only race officials allowed in officials hut.

IF EVERYONE ABIDES BY THESE PRINCIPLES WE CAN ENJOY OUR CHOSEN SPORT.

RACING RULES

1: Grid positions will be decided by the race director.

2: A 5 minute signal will sound before the start of the next race.

3: Should a driver jump the start he/she will be given a stop-go penalty.

4: A car losing its body or muffler will have to pull off the track immediately.

5: Any car considered by the race director as “unsafe” will be black flagged.

8: If a driver has a non-driver as pit crew, it is his/her responsibility to inform him/her of
the pit crew rules.
